The Department of Public Health and Social Services is a line agency within the Executive Branch of the Government of Guam and was established to provide leadership and direction in diverse areas of environmental health, consumer protection, communicable disease control, vital statistics, medicaid, MIP, public assistance, foster care, elderly programs and food stamps. The Department is comprised of five distinct division as follows: General Administration, Environmental Health, Public Health, Public Welfare and Senior Citizen.
